DAMN YOU SMELL GOOD, BRO!

This is not something to not take seriously! A guys smell is just as important as his looks, ASK ANY CHICK. If a girl says ‘you smell good’ - it’ll stick; and why wouldn’t you want to be known for smelling hella good?! I get compliments 24/7 because I don’t leave the house without some sort of scent on me - it totally works :)

Cologne is HELLA expensive and it’s a waste to be spraying that ish just to go to somewhere like school. Next best thing - GUYS BODY SPRAY! Max is $5 a bottle and they last for at least a month. How long the scent sticks just depends on the brand or version. There’s Bod, Axe, Tag, and places like Aéropostale carry some as well. I have 4, and I just mix different amounts of each and get a different smell everytime. Works like a charm, trust me bros :)

1.  Blazers - They can go either way, formal or casual; in this outfit being casual with the V-neck and rolled sleeves. Blazers can be pricey but they’re definitely worth it because of their versatility. I can’t explain how many different outfits I’ve made with just this one blazer. It’s a hella perfect touch to a winter outfit, every dude needs at least one!

2.  Vintage Necklaces - Do nothing but freshen up an outfit with some texture, preferably a darker brass. Shiny metals are nice but can only go with certain outfits because of how much they stand out in the outfit. The one in this outfit is actually watch when opened. There are so many kickass necklaces I’ve seen out there, I know there’s one you’d like!

3.  V-Necks - A very basic piece of clothing, but it can go so far. It is plain, but the V-collar gives it so much character and changes the typical crew neck shape. They’re hella awesome for the summer just the shirt alone, but can still keep up with the winter weather. Very versatile!

1.  Scarves - They add a very vintage touch to an outfit, at the same time keeping you warm during these cold months. FYI - The Palestinian scarf, aka ‘Kuffiyeh’ is actually the national symbol for Palestine. So when you wear the scarf, know what it represents, Freedom for Palestinians all over :)

2.  Bases - Putting the very detailed scarf over a good base color makes people pay more attention to the scarf. If it were put on a light colored shirt, the scarf would just disappear.

3.  No-show socks - The look of shoes with ‘no socks’ gives an outfit a very classic touch. Not saying show socks are bad because they most definitely aren’t, but with this outfit, and shoes (Sperry’s), it just fits!

1. Focal Point - One bright/different color in the outfit. With blue jeans and Toms, and a light shirt, the deep red pops even from far away. Or I could’ve worn a jacket with a color closer to blue, and maybe red Toms - giving the eye somewhere to start, rather than your outfit being just a big blurr.

2. Watches - Adding a watch definitely keeps an outfit classy, yet still casual.

3. Lines - Lines/stripes elongate the body depending on which direction they’re going. Vertical lines give the illusion of height and slimness, horizontal giving the body width. I’m thin as can be, so horizontal lines keep me from seeming skeleton-like. If you’re trying to look taller or maybe a bit thinner, vertical lines are the way to go!

Bracelets! Like I wrote before, they totally give detail to an outfit and always catches peoples eye - especially with chicks. haha

1. You don’t have to go pay $10 for bracelets, you can make ‘em from stuff around the house. In the picture: the green one is a headband from one of my friends, the leather is actually a cheap necklace I stole from my little cousin, and the top one is Jute Twine I used for a project, just braided. You can buy yarn or string that costs like $2, and you get an hella long supply!

2. Get old clothes you plan on throwing away, tear a long piece and just tie it up. BOOM - swag on discount.

This is what I would consider a casual outfit. It could totally go without the sweater, just the rolled up button-up; but it was hella cold today so I layered up. haha

1.  Mix solids and patterns. With such plain colored pants and solid cardigan, the plaid button up prevents you from the stained glass look.

2. If it’s long enough, ROLL that mug up! Rolling up sleeves or pants just gives your outfits that much more character. If you’re wearing a long sleeve under a sweater, pull the shirt through and roll - hella boss!

3. Like I said before, leather shoes change up the texture scheme. Gotta love my Oxford’s, they can go with a casual outfit like this one, yet still keep a dress up outfit still fresh!

4.  Adding hella random bracelets.  Gives your outfit detail, and from what I’ve observed, attention from chicks. Compliment from a dudette? - uh…hell yeah :)

The most important factor to an outfit are the SHOES.  They can make an outfit, or completely kill it.  Blazer, jeans, and sneakers? Uh…no bro. These are the only 5 pairs of shoes I actually wear. Some may seem a bit pricey; but one, they’re well worth it, and two, one can’t be cheap on shoes. The quality of a pair of shoes actually does matter over time, not so much with clothes.

It’s important to stick to neutral colors, the more basic you go, the more outfits they can fit it. Yeah, the rainbow Van’s are awesome but how many outfits could it go with dude… Leather shoes are definitely awesome because they add a different texture to the outfit.
